The Dream

For over 20 years, we have been traveling throughout the United States working with the Jesus Kitchen to bring radical hospitality to the traveling counter-culture here in America. For years, we have had it on our hearts to have a safe place of welcome where we can offer hospitality, rest, and discipleship to those who are on their own spiritual journeys in a more permanent location. We hope that through intentional community, healing gardens, and an openness to welcoming people from all walks of life, we can create a place of welcome that is tailored to those who live on the margins.

We are beginning to put feet to our dream. Our first step has been to create our non-profit: Places of Welcome. Our next step will be to seek and form a small community of fellow Jesus lovers with the goal of creating an intentional community with a shared vision of creating places of welcome in the margins. We then hope to move into raising the funds needed to purchase a place that we can use to make our dream a reality. A place where we can house a small intentional community as well as host those who come our way, create healing gardens, offer times for Christ-centered meditations, prayer walks, and retreats.
